WHO WE ARE
Nuron Kenya and it’s sister company Nuron Energy have, within a decade of their incorporations, risen from infancy to compete with oil industry giants in the East African Region as evident with the volume and nature of business the company handles..
HISTORY
Nuron Kenya was incorporated and started operation in 2018. Nuron is licensed by the Energy Regulation Commission (ERC) to import and distribute petroleum products in the country and other neighboring countries. Nuron has long term agreements with Kenya Petroleum Refineries Ltd, (KPRL) and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) for use of their facilities.
NURON TODAY
Nuron has invested heavily in high quality human resources whom are also trained to ensure that they are on top of the business. Nuron is a niche operator trading on generic petroleum products differentiated by very close relationship with customers and partners.
The company markets and distributes white petroleum products – Premium, Regular, Diesel and Kerosene - Bulk Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Fuel Oil, Bitumen and now Lubricants to complete the product range.
The retail network has expanded to stand at over ten stations in Kenya, and the expansion continues. In the consumers front the commercial customers' portfolio has increased both locally and in the region. In addition the company has recently doubled in the trading business including participating in the Open Tender System (OTS) in Kenya with excellent results and performance.
We have built a strong reputation as a dynamic, progressive and ethical petroleum company, which places the highest priority on our customers, and the sustainability of our business, society and the environment. As the downstream subsidiary of international petroleum products producers, our business encompasses research, refining, marketing and sales of petroleum products in Kenya and beyond. Our distinctive Nuron brand reflects the values of professionalism and customer focus which are embedded in our corporate culture. To achieve our corporate mission, we invest in marketing and refining channels that are secure, sustainable, profitable and internationally diversified and we constantly seek opportunities to maintain our established businesses by entering into strategic alliances that strengthen our operations.
We are also taking significant steps to build a strong presence in this Eastern African region that offers vast opportunities for expansion. As a reliable and trusted business partner with local and international oil companies, we are investing in ambitious joint venture projects to establish new refining and marketing operations.
